In data de 13 iunie 2014, la Caminul Cultural al comunei Gropeni a avut loc un spectacol omagial in cinstea maestrului coregraf Constantin Ganescu(1934-1994). Pe scena au evoluat ansambluri folclorice instruite de maestri coregrafi, fosti elevi ai maestrului Ganescu.
